SECTION II – COMPOSITION/INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS
Alkylarylsulfonates, alcohol, and inorganic acid neutralizing and chelating agents: >30%
2-Butoxyethanol CAS#111-76-2 TLV Units 25 ppm

SECTION III – HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
Eye: Causes severe irritation, experienced as discomfort or pain, excess blinking and tear production, redness, swelling, and chemical burn of the eye.
Skin: Brief contact is not irritating. Prolonged contact may cause discomfort, local redness,
and defatting of skin.
Ingestion: May cause abdominal discomfort, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
Inhalation: Mist may cause irritation of the respiratory tract, experienced as nasal discomfort
and discharge, with chest pain and coughing.
Other Effects: Threshold limits established by raw material: 25ppm. This product is not a carcinogen. 2-Butoxyethanol penetrates skin readily. Ingestion of significant quantities may
result in red blood cell hemolysis.

SECTION IV – FIRST AID MEASURES
Eye: Immediately flush eyes with water and continue washing for at least 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention.
Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with soap and water. Obtain medical attention
if irritation persists. wash clothing before reuse.
Ingestion: Give two glasses of water. Do not induce vomiting. Obtain medical attention.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Obtain medical attention if symptoms persists.
Other: Treatment of overexposure should be directed at control of symptoms and clinical
condition of patient.

to avoid falling. Contain spills immediately with inert materials (eg; sand, earth). Avoid discharge
to natural waters. Transfer liquids and solid diking material to suitable containers for recovery
or disposal.

Use with adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly after handling. Spilled material is slippery.
Material is nonflammable.
